Blueberry Park is on South 74th and East D Street in Tacoma. It is, at its most basic level, a big public area full of blueberry bushes. Thousands of them. You do not yet understand how many blueberries there are to go around.
And it's free. Drive over, take a pitcher or bowl or basket and a friend, and spend your day picking blueberries. I had intended to bake with mine, but I ended up eating them all like popcorn for two days.
From what I understand, Blueberry Park is maintained by volunteers and donations. Chances are you don't have the dough to spend right now on a donation, but I bet you could find some time to volunteer if you wanted to pay for your blueberries through service.
